structure. Sustainable agriculture may have disadvantages when compared to competing non-sustainably grown produce. That could be pesticides, packaging, unethical land clearing and forest devastation conducted in the name of farming. Now sustainable farmers can compete by using SAVRpak’s chemical free sustainable storage and delivery technology. With these innovations, farmers can extend the shelf life of produce and extend the reach to lucrative markets. We empower ethical farmers with global market reach. 3. How does this project cause an improvement as regards waste and chemicals? Some packaging solutions used today rely on expensive respiration films or MAP (modified atmospheric packaging) to extend the shelf life of produce. With very little cost, the compostable SAVRpak tech can replace these more expensive solutions. It does not require the infrastructure or investment needed by MAP, and makes respiration films irrelevant. With less overhead, it can be implemented by even the most rural/ off-grid farmer. 4.
